About
The seed of a research congress about craniosacral therapy was planted at the end of 2018. Both Yohanam and Danny were convinced that the cranio community, as well as the general public, could benefit from a better scientific understanding of this therapy. After all, craniosacral therapy has not yet received the explicit research attention it deserves like other fields. We believe that establishing an interdisciplinary platform for researchers and healthcare practitioners from all over the world can make such a contribution to advance the practice and foundation of craniosacral therapy, to identify areas for future research, and to encourage international networking and cooperation.

Danny Sandra
PhD MSc MBA CST
Danny’s professional journey took an unexpected turn from aeronautical engineering to the world of business, where his MBA experience allowed him to thrive in the fast-paced environment of Internet startups. Despite launching several innovative services, not all ventures were successful, which led Danny to seek deeper meaning in his work. It was during this time of reflection that he encountered transformative individuals who introduced him to the realms of spirituality and bodywork. This marked a turning point in his life, sparking a profound interest in craniosacral therapy and systemic constellation work. These practices became more than just areas of study; they were pathways to inner growth and heightened consciousness.
As a certified craniosacral therapist and coach (PCC), Danny also works as a professor, inspiring students in the fields of change, consciousness, spirituality, and rhythms. His teaching is driven by a passion to cultivate future business leaders and researchers, furthering the evolution of these disciplines. Alongside his academic role, he consults with organizations, helping leaders and their teams navigate strategic transformations and achieve holistic growth. Driven by this multifaceted commitment, Danny ventured into the exploration of spiritual leadership and the natural rhythms within organizations. His work has guided many through profound strategic and personal transformations. This dedication culminated in a PhD and multiple publications in esteemed scientific journals.
In 2018, Danny co-founded the International Cranio Research Congress with Yohanam Arulandu, with a heartfelt commitment to serve the global community of researchers and healthcare practitioners. The Congress was created as a non-profit initiative to foster an interdisciplinary platform where professionals can contribute to advancing the practice and understanding of craniosacral therapy. By facilitating collaborative research, identifying future directions, and encouraging international networking, Danny hopes to support the continued evolution of this vital therapeutic field.
